We have been with YTL for a number of years now and the service is second to none with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had a new telephone system installed by YTL recently and were very pleased with the whole job from the initial visit to completion. The engineers are very professional and made the change over with hardly any disruption to the offices and warehouse, quite amazing as it was during a very busy period.
We’ve been in business for over 22 years now and we know that a reliable and flexible telephone system, with the features we need, is crucial to the running of our business. We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week and we pride ourselves on offering the very best personal service to our customers, during a very difficult time. We’ve bought systems and services previously, so we can speak with experience here and say everything ran smoothly and of course, we did have a few hiccups but everything was sorted quickly and most important of all, nothing interrupted the care and service we give. I always feel that I can contact YTL with any query however small and they are always there to help.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the excellent service we received. You may recall the problems we encountered with YHCC after our telephone system failed including being without a telephone line at all for over 48 hours. Your staff responded to our enquiry effectively and efficiently. Although the original engineer was unable to repair the system you attended site the same the same day, despatched a very comprehensive quotation and installed the new system with the minimum of delay and interruptions. It was an enormous contrast dealing with our providers (as was) YHCC and yourselves. Although we were not existing customers your staff dealt with our problems as a priority and it was the total team effort that won our business and gratitude. I would be grateful if you could pass on our gratitude to all involved especially to Steve who installed the system.
Further to the work recently undertaken by Yorkshire Telecom to install a Samsung telephone system into the Peek Leicester Meridian offices, I am writing to express my gratitude at the quality of the work undertaken by Yorkshire Telecom staff throughout the project. The professionalism of Yorkshire Telecom staff, both whilst on site and in dealing with operational issues after the system installation was complete was exceptional, and is credit to Yorkshire Telecom. The system knowledge of the Yorkshire Telecom engineers was first class, and their input towards how our system should be configured undoubtedly resulted in a better quality telephone system. Once again, please pass on my gratitude to all Yorkshire Telecom staff who were involved in this project.
I just thought I would take 5 minutes out of the day’s madness to drop you a line about our new phone system. Our system has been in now for just over a week so the initial excitement of trying every button has died down. Everyone has taken to the new system without exception because there’s usually one who liked the old one better! I just want to say what a nice guy Steve is, he installed the equipment without us really noticing what was happening – no stress, no fuss. One minute we were on the old system, the next we were using the new one. We still lose the odd caller on hold somewhere but it’s getting better.
We write with reference to the recent installation of our new Samsung Telephone system. We would like to let you know how pleased we have been with the most efficient service we have received from YTL. We would like to mention in particular Mark Duce who has been extremely helpful, always on hand if there have been any concerns and has made the changeover go so smoothly. The service he has given us has been quite exceptional and we would be glad if you would pass on our sincere thanks for all his help. He is a great asset to your company and we would have no hesitation in recommending YTL. We are confident we can rely on your continued support.
To be perfectly honest the problems were numerous and varied, not helped by the fact that very little paperwork existed at our end but since we have moved our contracts and lines (well all bar one) to Yorkshire Telecom Ltd we have seen a massive improvement in service and a huge reduction in phone call costs. For me it is the ease of one contact so I am not passed around from pillar to post by BT employees who were more interested in getting rid of my call and passing the buck rather than sorting things out. We did have one very good contact there but I’m afraid he was the exception. Recent correspondence with a ‘BT Account Manager’ did not fill us with any confidence and indeed if it wasn’t for Yorkshire Telecom we would have been high and dry and effectively forced into paying a not insignificant amount of money.
Just a quick note to say thank you for ALL your hard work last week. It sounds like the equivalent of running a marathon with a very heavy load! I really appreciate all that you did behind the scenes.
I feel compelled to write to you regarding two of your service engineers. Steve and Richard both did an excellent job for Otters on Wednesday 13th June, and although we had a lot of extensions to sort out, they were patient, courteous and helpful. I would like you to know that we appreciate all the hard work that they did.
As my business relies on good references, I thought it would be a good idea to assist you and write one myself. We have acquired telephone systems and billing from you at our office for the past fourteen years. In all that time your service and support has been first class. I can also report that the new system at Manchester is working well and your tariffs now we have received a few bills are considerably cheaper than the previous from BT. At Chadwick Lawrence we have six offices in West Yorkshire so our decision to centralise our switchboard operation was an opportunity for us to significantly enhance the service we give to our customers to ensure we provide them with the with the best possible customer experience and satisfaction levels. The project needed investment and our decision to invest is indicative of the confidence we have in the local business community, not only from a perspective of a positive outlook generally but also in using the services of local providers YTL.
At First Choice we try to work as much as possible with local companies, providing they supply at least as good value/service as their ‘slightly further away’ competitors. This has been borne out with a recent contract we’ve signed with Wakefield based Yorkshire Telecommunications to supply all our phones, land-lines and mobiles, for a considerable length of time. The service we’ve received has been extremely informative and flexible, providing solutions to issues we didn’t know we had. The net result is a far better package at value for money prices.
Very easy process from initially meeting with the sales team to having the phone system installed. Great situation when a customer becomes your supplier and vice versa, especially when both are local, long-standing and growing businesses in the area.
I just wanted to tell you that Kim and Laura have been absolutely brilliant with me over these last few weeks, answering my random questions and putting up with my techno-phobic nonsense, they've been so patient and helpful. Please thank them for me.
